At 34 years old myself, I experience lower back pain as the result of sitting at a desk all day and have often dreamt of cinderblocks underneath my desk! This design is classy and can be built to any office environment without hundreds of dollars spent on office furniture.

Re: “I Speak Through My Word.”

Thanks Julie... miss you guys. : )

Re: “I Speak Through My Word.”

So awesome, Cory. I listened to that song you're working on, "My Soul Delights in You"... wow... really powerful.
I'll definitely have to come to this website in the morning to listen and read and start my day out right. 10 minutes between myself and God would probably be the most healthy way I could start my day.
Keep up the great work.
And tell your family I said hello.

Re: My Soul Delights In You

Cory...love that song. I usually write lyrics and melody at the same time, then I fit the chord structure to the melody - making sure to use some interesting chords (ie - I love the sound of Eb going into a Gm7)
Or - I take my writing notebook and sit at the piano. Then I write an interesting chord structure and then fit a melody and words to it. So, I guess for me the key is to make the melody and the words together - it makes for better prosody! I usually take about 20-30 minutes for a finished song, although that's the rough draft and can be polished up considerably after that!

Re: THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES

Thanks so much for your encouragement Mary Jo. I know you both know that the Lord will use your experience and Jude for good and ultimately for His glory. I mourn with you for your loss of Jude and rejoice with you that he is with the Lord. I am Shane's mom. I think your mom shared my loss with you. I can imagine Shane greeting Jude as he joined him in heaven with Jesus. I am thankful when I read in God's word that this life is just a vapor, even though it feels so long. Just as you both feel I am sure- I can't wait to see my baby Shane in heaven, as well as my baby Casey that I spontaneously miscarried in 2001 at 8 wks. I also can't wait to meet Jude. You both continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as we all continue to trust in the Lord to walk, and sometimes carry us, through until He comes again.
I'm not sure if Jan shared with you the song, Glory Baby by Watermark, but it is a beautiful song and the words are so true. I received this song form a friend on the site Grooveshark.com

Continuing to praise Him with you,
Mary Jo Doyle

Re: THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES

thanks for the note Michele-

Re: THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES

thank you Karen- good to hear from you. love to the family. : )

Re: THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES

thanks Adam- see you guys soon!

Re: THE BEST AND WORST OF TIMES

We love you guys, that was an amazing blog post...
